This is a through station on the Bakerloo Line, which runs approximately east/west through this station.
This is an integral part of the mainline station with a single entrance/exit off the west side of the concourse.
The ticket sales facilities for this station are on the left-hand (south) side of the concourse, as you enter the station, whilst those for the mainline are to your right (north).
Escalators with central stairs lead down (west) to an intermediate level which consists of the passages between the foot of the escalators and the stairs to/from platforms. The passage divides into an entrance passage leading east then south, plus an exit passage which leads straight into the passage towards the escalators, from the south.
There are two separate platforms, with platform 1, northbound, lying south of platform 2, southbound. These platforms are slightly staggered, such that platform 2 lies a few metres east of platform 1.
The entrance lies a few metres east of the exit from each platform.
There is stairs access throughout this station. We therefore believe the station is accessible to Guide Dog users, but not to wheelchairs.
