The second level of the station forms a subway which joins the Circle Line, platforms 1 - 2 to the circulating area between the escalators from the concourse and those to the Central Line.
This passage leaves platform 1 to the east, turn left (north), descend 17 then 11 steps , going north to the subway. Turn left (west) for platform 2, eastbound, turn right (east) to Central Line.
This passage leaves platform 2 to the west. There is a blank door in the wall in front of you. Turn Right (north) and descend 20 steps, going north. Turn right, east and descend 9 steps, going east into the subway.
The passage to the Central Line continues east, down a slight slope to two gaps in the north wall through which you turn into the second level circulating area, at the foot of the escalator from the main concourse.
The level 2 circulating area is reached from the main concourse, either via escalator or stairs between the two escalators. Descend 3, 17, 17 and 16 steps, going east.
