Locate the barrier, before the top of the stairs, on the south side of Marylebone Road, go round this and descend one flight of stairs parallel to the road. Turn away from the road and descend another flight of stairs into the concourse. Continue forward before turning left towards the gates, the ticket sales and assistance booth is on your left with the manual gate at the left of the gate line.
Go through the gates
Turn right, (about 2 o'clock), towards the lifts. (See "lifts" in the FACILITIES section for details on operating the lifts). Enter the lift and, at the bottom, continue forward, through the other door.
Turn left and continue onto the platform, you're about in the middle of the train.
Turn right, then left and left again, down a flight of stairs then up another onto the platform. You're at the front half of the train.
Go through the gates and turn right. Continue to the wall before turning right again. The passage to the stairs is on your left. Follow the stairs down, 97 steps in all, going clockwise. Turn right at the bottom, then left.
Continue forward onto the platform, you're about in the middle of the train.
Take the passage on your right, turn left again, down a flight of stairs then continue, up another onto the platform. You're at the front half of the train.
