Turn south into the passage from the main concourse and descend 9 steps. Turn right (west) towards the spiral staircase. Descend 17, turn right, descend 7, turn right, repeat this twice more before descending 16 steps to the lower concourse level. You've descended 97 steps in all.
Continue forward from the foot of the stairs to a T-junction, turn right, (south) then left (east), toward the entrances to the platforms.
For platform 1, northbound, continue (east) onto the platform.
For platform 2, southbound, take the turning right (south) then left (east) through the subway.
