There are three escalators between the intermediate level and Piccadilly Line. The left-hand escalator is normally the one you need. The middle escalator was ascending at the time of our survey.
Note that these escalators don't offer step-free access. There is stairs-only access from street level to the concourse; the escalators access a level between the Piccadilly Line platforms requiring stairs access to each of these from the foot of the escalator.
There is also stairs-only access between the Circle/District Line platforms and the intermediate level.
