The east end is denoted by the flower bed, there's a slope off the south side. This platform is narrower than platform 2 and lies a few metres west, such that the west end extends west of the end of platform 2.

Two rows of pillars run along the platform, about a metre apart. The outer row is about 1.5 metres from the platform edge.

There's a card phone, facing north, attached to the east side of a vending machine in the middle of the platform, a help point is attached to the west side of the machine. The inner row of pillars stops here. A single row of "I" girders continues along the platform.
