There are two lifts in this station, one between street level and the east concourse, the other between the east concourse and platform level.
The door is on the west side of Blackfriars Road, a few metres north of the junction, you enter facing southwest. The call button, down only, is to your right as you face the door.
The door is at the end of a short passage leading northeast, from a point a few metres beyond the foot of the steps from street level. The call button, up only, is to your left of the door as you face the lift, you enter facing northeast.
The buttons are on the near left-hand side as you enter from either direction, in three rows, from the top:
Note that, in either direction, you leave via the other set of doors.
A sounder indicates that the doors are open and we’re asked not to obstruct the doors. Street Level and Ticket Hall are clearly announced.
You enter the passage leading north from a point just before the top of the escalator. The call buttons (up and down) are to your left of the door as you face the lift. You enter facing west.
Note that, although signs indicate that this lift also goes to street level, this is not the case and the lift goes between concourse and platform levels only.
The door is in a recess towards the east end of the westbound, platform 1. Within this recess:
doors to emergency exit|
fire hydrant cupboard
door to lift, call button to your right as you face the lift|
The buttons are on the near left-hand side as you enter, in three rows:
You leave via the same doors
A sounder indicates that the doors are open and we’re asked not to obstruct the doors. Ticket hall and Jubilee Line platforms are clearly announced.
