The exit from the eastbound concourse is onto a triangular forecourt at the end of a side street, which leads from the point where George Lane West meets the viaduct over the Central Line, adjacent to number 95. George Lane runs approximately westwards from this point.
There are 3 gates from the westbound concourse into George Lane East. There is a Zebra crossing immediately outside the middle gate. George Lane, Nos. 94 downwards are to your right, the viaduct to your left. If you cross the Zebra crossing and turn left, you enter Maulberry Way.
There is a subway to the north of the station, affording step free crossing to the eastbound, platform 2 and access, via stairs, to the viaduct. There is no step-free access to the westbound, platform 1.
