This is a through station on the Central Line, which runs approximately north/south on separate platforms, through the station.
Platform 1, westbound lies east of platform 2.
Each platform has its own concourse and ticket sales windows, though those in the westbound concourse are only open during weekday peak hours.
A bridge at the north end of the station joins the platforms. There's also a subway, north of the station, under the tracks, between the west side of George Lane and the forecourt outside the eastbound concourse. This subway also gives stairs access onto the George Lane Viaduct.
There is step free access to platform 2, via the concourse, though a flight of seven steps joins the westbound concourse to platform 1. The concourses are connected via a bridge within the station or a step free subway a few metres from each entrance.
We therefore believe this station is accessible to Guide Dog users, though the westbound platform is inaccessible to wheelchairs.
