There is a waiting room on each platform. As you walk away from the gates:
On platform 1, continue till you reach a recess separated from the main platform by pillars. Turn back here to locate the waiting room door which is the first on your right.
On platform 2, pass 2 blank doors, the waiting room is the next door on your right.
