FIND AN EXIT FROM A PLATFORM
The doors may open on either side of the train. If you arrive on platform 1 (the left-hand side of the island platform) the doors will open on your right, otherwise, on platforms 2 and 3, the doors will open on your left as you face the front of the train.
There is tactile paving along the edge of each platform.
Go to the front of the train and continue along the platform, passing the two buildings. At the end of the second building, continue until you locate the beginning of the island platform. The gate line, with an assistance box at each end is across the middle of the island platform, with a metal barrier to each side.
Go through the gates.
Go to the front of the train, continue to the end of the platform and turn right. Follow the left-hand wall till you find the gate line on your left.
There's a manual gate at each end of the gate line. The right-hand gates are normally the ones you need.
The bottom step is about 6 metres in front of you. Go up three flights of 16 steps to reach the concourse and continue, via the exit, to the service road. The taxi office is the first door on your left and the bus stop is also to your left, about 20 metres beyond the end of the building.
GO TO END
Move to your right, into the exit, then turn left and right along the walkway. At the end, turn right and go down the ramp into the car park. Note that this route could be quite difficult for some users as the ramp is quite steep and, if you don't have access to a car, you'll then have to climb to street level via the car park exit. I think this is about a ten metre climb.
HOW DO I…?
