Location

The station is on the northeast corner of the junction of Wellington Road (south), Finchley Road (north), Acacia Road (east) and Grove End Road (west).

Entrances and Exits

The only entrance is from the northeast side of a small forecourt which includes a green area along the kerb edge at the junction.

You go in facing northeast, keeping right you then veer left (north) towards the gate line and escalators.

Local Road Crossings

There’s a pedestrian controlled crossing at each corner of the junction. Each crossing has tactile paving, the post, with push button and rotating cone is to your right as you cross in either direction.

South Arm, Wellington Road

This is a single-stage crossing with central island, on which there’s a push button to your right as you cross in either direction.

West Arm, Grove End Road

This is a single-stage crossing.

North Arm, Finchley Road

This is a single-stage crossing with central island, on which there’s a push button to your right as you cross in either direction.

East Arm, Acacia Road

This is a single-stage crossing.

Local Buses

On the West Side of Wellington Road

Bus Stop B, south of the first side road, serves buses towards Swiss Cottage: 13, 46, 82, 113, 187 and N13.

On the East Side of Wellington Road

Bus Stop C, almost opposite Bus Stop B, serves buses towards Baker Street: 13, 46, 82, 113, 187 and N13.

Local Features

Outside the Station

There’s a coffee shop immediately left (southeast) of the entrance with chairs and tables on the pavement.

Lord's Cricket Ground

This is about 500 metres south of the station, on the right-hand (west) side of Wellington Road.
