FIND A PLATFORM FROM AN ENTRANCE
There is level access from the pavement into the ticket hall then stairs or escalator access to the island platform. There's tactile paving along each edge of the platform.
As you go into the station, you're facing diagonally across the ticket hall. There's a pillar in the middle of this space, beyond which are the ticket sales windows. The gate line is to your left of these.
Bear left to the gate line, there's a Wide Aisle gate at the right-hand end of the gate line and the automatic entrances are to your left of this. Go through the gates.
The escalators, with central steps, are in front of you. The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need. If you prefer to use the steps, you go down thre, five times 17 then 12 steps to platform level.
From the foot of the escalators or steps, you can take the first turning right for platform 2, southbound, we believe you're beside the front half of the train.
For platform 1, northbound, ideally take the second turning on your left, we believe you're beside the rear half of the train.
