CHANGE PLATFORMS

Describe Online

Overview

There's a lot of this, as the station is large and complex. The layout of platforms and routes between them aren't consistent, so I have to explain the likely options.

I provide internal links to each start platform and then to lift or stairs options for routes from them. Level 5 headings are used to separate routes to each platform, so it should still be easy enough to find the route you need without reading the whole story!

I'm offering routes, where possible, through the Middle Subway, as I have with the other way finding pages. This gives access to platforms 1 - 12, the London Overground, Mainline and Central Line platforms. The DLR (Stratford Branch) platforms 4A and 4B, together with the new westbound Central Line platform 3A are accessed via the Level 1 Walkway, The Jubilee Line and DLR (Stratford International Branch) platforms 13 - 16 are in the West Concourse and routes to/from these will be via the West Subway, where possible. The DLR (Stratford International Branch) southbound, platform 17 is in the East Concourse.

There is tactile paving along the edge of all platforms. Note, however that not all sets of steps have tactile paving at the top and bottom.

See the Lifts page for details of lift access through this station.
