Overview

The area outside the gates is a rectangular space which bridges the Circle/District Line tracks. There are separate gate lines for entrance and exit to the platforms. The ticket sales facilities are on the north side, the entrance gates are on the east, whilst the exits are on the west.

The entrance from the Victoria Line concourse leads into the southeast corner, whilst the Terminus Place entrance is in the southwest. The Victoria Road exit leads from the north side.

We will divide the area inside the gates into the entrance (east) and exit (west) sections. The entrance section consists of two parallel bridges across the tracks, the west bridge is reached via the entrance gate line within the concourse, whilst the east is reached via the Wide Aisle Gate and normal automatic gate from the passage from the Victoria Line concourse. There are entrances via stairs to each platform from each of these bridges.

The exit section is a bridge over the tracks to which there are two exits from the westbound platform 1 and one from the eastbound.

The queue for the ticket windows starts just north of the pillar with phones. you continue west then turn right (east) to pass the windows.
