THE CIRCLE LINE PLATFORMS

DESCRIBE ONLINE

Overview

These are two separate platforms running approximately east/west with platform 1, westbound lying south of platform 2, eastbound.

These platforms are bridged by the Circle Line concourse. The exits to the Circle Line concourse leave near the west end of each platform, there are two exits from platform 1 and one from platform 2. The entrances from the Circle Line concourse are east of these, about in the middle of the platforms, there are two entrances to each platform.

The interconnection to the Victoria Line platforms, via the intermediate level, are near the east end of the platforms. There is one entrance/exit on platform 1, westbound, whilst there are two on platform 2, eastbound. The one nearest the end of platform 2 is the entrance from the Victoria Line, whilst the second is intended as the exit from the platform, entering the passage from the east entrance bridge.

There are barriers along the middle of the platforms, opposite the entrances.

There is no tactile paving along the edge of these platforms.
