THE VICTORIA LINE PLATFORMS 3 - 4 |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
The Victoria Line is served by an island platform running northeast/southwest with platform 3, northbound lyoung southeast of platform 4, southbound. Note that this is contrary to most island platforms, so the train doors open on your left as you face the front of the train.
The island platform has a central reservation, about in the middle, which is at the foot of the escalators from the intermediate level, with three passages to/from each platform. There's an additional passage between the platforms near the northeast end.
There's tactile paving along the edge of the platforms.
You can either reach this level via escalator from the intermediate level or the central stairs. The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need.
If you use the stairs, go down three, 4 x 17, 16 and three steps, going southwest into the central reservation.
