Describe Online

London Underground is installing Wide Aisle Gates (WAGs) in many of its stations.

These are wide automatic gates, suitable for use by wheelchair users, those with Guide or Assistance dogs and customers with large luggage or pushchairs.

They’re operated in the same way as the normal automatic gates and there will normally be one in the entrance and exit section of each gate line.

In some stations, such as Victoria, Wide Aisle Gates have replaced the manual gates, though staff are still on hand to assist as necessary.

There are two bi-directional Wide Aisle Gates in this station.

There's a Wide Aisle Gate at the right-hand of the original gate line, opposite platforms 2 - 3, as you enter the station.

There's a Wide Aisle Gate at the near end of the new gate line as you enter the station. Turn left from the Bridge Road entrances and follow the barrier. Turn right from the Olympic Square entrance and continue till you reach the gate on your left. If you find automatic gates, move right then continue forward.
