As we can't state any rules to help you know on which platform your train will arrive, we offer some orientation clues for guidance.

The main bridge is reached by stairs or escalators from the island platforms and stairs only from platforms 1 and 12.

Note that, on this platform, there are several sets of stairs which are not for public use.
The ones we need leave from recesses in the wall towards the middle of the platform. As you face along the platform with the wall to your right, the recess with stairs leading up in front of you will be from platform A whilst those leading up behind you will be from platform B. In either case, you go up two flights of 18 steps onto the bridge. You'll be at the end, so turn away from this and continue, past the entrances to platforms 2 - 3, 4 - 5 and 6 - 7 before turning left towards the gates. If you go straight ahead from the gates, you should find either the stairs or escalators to the Palisades shopping mall. The exits to the forecourt are to either side of you, for taxis take the one to your right.
There is only one regular stairs exit from this platform. It is found in a recess in the wall near the start of section B. As you face along the platform with the wall to your left, the stairs will go up behind you. You go up two flights of 18 steps onto the bridge, turn left and pass entrances to platforms 10 - 11 and 8 - 9 before turning right through the gates.
If you go straight ahead from the gates, you should find either the stairs or escalators to the Palisades shopping mall. the exits to the forecourt are to either side of you, for taxis take the one to your right.
The main bridge crosses the middle of the platforms. The entrance areas, on platform A are bounded by a wall across the entrance with timetables; there's a gap through the building then an entrance onto each platform between the gap and the twin flights of stairs.
The building bounding the exit areas tends to come towards a point facing a "no entry" ramp. (There's a strraight wall on platform 8, though that on platform 9 is angled). Go into this area and turn away from the ramp, towards the escalator to your right, (or stairs to your left). Go up onto the bridge.
As you reach the bridge, the lower numbered platforms will be to your left. The exit gates are opposite the eating area between platforms 6 - 7 and 8 - 9.
Go towards this eating area and cross, through the gates.
If you go straight ahead from the gates, you should find either the stairs or escalators to the Palisades shopping mall. the exits to the forecourt are to either side of you, for taxis take the one to your right.
The forecourt can only be reached directly via lifts from platforms 6 - 7 and 8 - 9. Note also that all lifts are located in the A section of the platforms, those for platforms 1 - 11 face east, away from the main bridge, whilst that from platform 12 faces wets. The call and operating buttons of the lift from platform 10 - 11 is to your left as you face the door, whilst they're to your right on all other lifts.

Locate the lift entrance, in a gap in the buildings on island platforms, (in a recess on platform 1) and descend to the subway.
as you come out of the lift, the higher numbered platforms are to your right. Turn right and locate the door to the lifts via either platform 6 - 7 or 8 - 9. Note the latter will bring you nearer the start of the taxi queue.
Ascend to the forecourt, you're between the main entrances to the contourse, facing away from the main building.
Locate the lift, in a gap in the building, enter the lift and ascend to the forecourt.
Note that the lift via platform 8 - 9 will bring you nearer the start of the taxi queue. You're between the main entrances to the concourse, facing away from the building.
Locate the lift, in a gap in the building and descend to the subway. come out of the lift and turn left, then locate either the first lift (via platform 8 - 9), or second (via platform 6 - 7). Note that the first will bring you closer to the start of the taxi queue.
Ascend to the forecourt. As you leave the lift, you're between the main entrances to the concourse, facing away from the building.
Locate the lift, entrance, in a recess in the wall and descend to the subway. Having left the lift, move forward a couple of metres before turning right into the passage. Pass the first entrance, (to the lift to platform 10 - 11) and locate either the second (via platform 8 - 9) or third (via platform 6 - 7). Note that the lift via platform 8 - 9 will bring you nearer to the start of the taxi queue.
enter the lift and ascend to the forecourt. As you leave the lift, you're between the main entrances to the concourse, facing away from the building.
The Victoria Square exit is reached via the west bridge which crosses the island platforms about half way along the B sections.
Note, however, that platform 5B ends at this bridge and a new platform, 4C extends to the west. The island platform 4 - 5 is narrower beyond this point and it is possible to overshoot the bridge on platform 5 and go into the vacant track bed, keep right!
Note that platforms 1 and 12 are not served by this bridge.

Locate the stairs to the bridge which go up, towards the end of the platform. Go up two flights of steps, then turn left (180 degrees) and up six more steps onto the bridge. Turn left here and continue to the wall at the end.
Locate the stairs to the bridge, which go up towards the end of the platform. Go up two flights of stairs and turn right (90 degrees) then go up seven steps onto the bridge. Continue forwards to the wall at the end.
Locate the steps to the bridge which go up towards the end of the platform. Go up two flights of stairs then turn right (90 degrees), then up seven more steps onto the bridge. At this point, you have a hand rail to your right and the wall, with a rail, to your left. We suggest you follow the right hand rail forwards, minding the pillar at the end, then continue to the wall at the end of the bridge.
Turn right and go up five steps, turn left and go up ten more before turning left again into the concourse. Continue forwards from here to the doors. There are four pairs of double doors leading onto Navigation Street.
