Lifts connect each platform, from the A section, to a subway which connects all platforms, affording wheelchair access to the station.

the lifts serving platforms 6 - 7 and 8 - 9 continue up to the forecourt, between the two main entrances to the station.

The following features are wothy of note:

• We noticed yelow flooring in front of the lift entrances;
• the lift to platform 12 faces towards the main bridge (west), whilst all the others face the opposite direction;
• lifts serving platforms 6 - 7 and 8 - 9 extend to the forecourt, so have both up and down call buttons at platform level;
• the lift for platform 10 - 11 has the call button to your left of the door, whilst the remainder are to your right;
• the operating buttons, inside the lifts are about a metre inside the door, those for platforms 1 - 9 and 12 are to your right, whilst that for platform 10 - 11 is to your left.
