Further Information

Going Northeast

We cross a service road to the parade of shops, which has tactile paving on each side. Beyond this are railings along the kerb side of the pavement, until you reach a well-marked crossing of Almada Street, with tactile paving on each side of the road. The posts with push button and sounder, but no cone are northeast of the crossing, that is to your right as you cross towards the County Buildings. This is a single-stage crossing through four lanes of traffic.

The far (northwest) side of the crossing is northeast of the County Buildings. Further northeast of this is Beckford Street, from the northwest.

Going Southwest

We reach the building, Lanarkshire Online Business Directory, on our left before the wall retreats to Montrose House.

Theres another crossing of Almada Street here, but this has neither cone nor sounder so is not as useful as the one mentioned above.

Montrose Crescent is a few metres southwest of the crossing, with tactile paving on each side.

The Crossing of Montrose Cst has posts, with push button, cone but no sounder southeast of the crossing, that is to your left as you cross away from Montrose House.
