The gate line extends across the concourse from just outside the ticket office to a point just before entrance 1.

At the time of our survey, the pillar separated the four entrances from the six exits, though this arrangement may be changed according to the time of day. The intended clockwise traffic flow through the station requires that, in general, the gates you need will be to your left of the gate line.
