Find and Exit From a Baker Street Platform

Overview

This station is effectively divided into two parts – that serving the Bakerloo/jubilee lines and that serving the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. Each section has its own concourse, the two being joined by steps.

At street level, the entrances, except for the Marylebone Road South entrance, are quite close together, so we’ll confine the combinations and permutations of directions to the most appropriate exits to the relevant section of the station. See the Environs page for details of the entrances and exits to this station.

We will therefore provide routes from the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines to the Marylebone Road South and Madame Tussauds exits, whilst routes from the Bakerloo and Jubilee lines will be confined to the Baker Street North and South exits. Note that the Marylebone Road South exit is only open between 07:00 and 19:00 Monday to Friday.

The Marylebone Road South exit is conveniently reached from the Circle or Hammersmith & City lines (platforms 5 – 6), whilst the Madame Tussauds exit is conveniently reached from the Metropolitan Line, via the Metropolitan Line concourse.
