Changes between District Line island platforms are either via the intermediate level or the lifts, whilst changes to/from the Piccadilly Line are normally via the escalators to/from the intermediate level. If you need to avoid using stairs and escalators, you can make these changes via lifts between the District Line and concourse level, then between the concourse and Piccadilly Line levels.

The doors will open on your right if you arrive at platform 1, left for platform 2.

There are three stairwells on this platform; the third, which is nearest the rear of the train is not available to the public, whilst the first, nearest the front is the entrance.
You should use the middle stairwell, go down two flights of steps to the intermediate level, continue past the foot of the steps from the first stairwell then take the turning right then right again. Continue up two flights of steps, onto the island platform. Platform 3 is to your right, you're towards the rear of the train.
Locate the liftbetween the first and second stairwell then go up to concourse level. Leave via the other door, facing east, turn right and locate the other lift, on your left at the end of the walkway. Go down to platform level and leave via the other door, facing east. Platform 3 is to your left, you're about in the middle of the train.
Locate the middle stairwell and go down two flights of steps to the intermediate level. Continue forward to the escalators, the right-hand one is normally the one you need. Go down to platform level, platform 5, eastbound is to your left you're near the rear of the train. The passage to platform 6, westbound is to your right after a few metres. You're near the front of the train.
Locate the lift between the first and second stairwell, then go up to concourse level. Leave via the other door, turn left, continue to the wall then turn right. Continue to the wall, turn right then left and locate either of the two lifts in front of you, the call button is between them. Go down to platform level and leave via the same door. You're in the second passage from the east end of the platform, platform 5, eastbound is to your right, you're about in the middle of the train.
The doors will open on your left if you arrive at platform 3, right for platform 4.

You should use the stairwell nearer the front of the train. Go down two flights of steps to the intermediate level then continue to the corner, turn right then right again. Locate the first set of steps leading back from the middle of the passage. Go up two flights of steps onto the platform, platform 1 is to your right, you're towards the rear of the train.
Locate the lift between the two stairwells and go up to concourse level. Leave via the other door, turn right and locate the lift to platforms 1 and 2 on your left after a few metres. Go down to platform level and leave via the other door, platform 1 is to your right, you're about in the middle of the train.
The second stairwell, nearer the front of the train is intended as the exit. Locate this stairwell and go down two flights of steps to the intermediate level. Continue to the wall in front of you, turn right then right again and continue to the escalators. The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need. At the foot of the escalator, platform 5, eastbound is to your left, you're towards the rear of the train. The passage to platform 6, westbound is on your right, after a few metres, you're near the front of the train.
Locate the lift between the two stairwells and go up to concourse level. Leave via the other door, turn right and continue to the wall and turn right again. Continue to the wall, then turn right then left again and locate either of two lifts in front of you, the call button is between them. Go down to platform level and leave via the same door. You're in the second passage from the east end of the platforms with platform 5, eastbound to your right, you're about in the middle of the train.
The doors will open on your right as you face the front of the train.

From the rear of the train (platform 5, eastbound) or front (platform 6, westbound), move back along the platform and take the first turning then turn back towards the escalators. The right-hand escalator is normally the one you need. Go up to the intermediate level, continue forward and go up the two flights of steps in front of you, onto the platform. Platform 1 is to your right, you're towards the front of the train. Note that it's possible to miss these steps which are in the middle of the passage. There is another set of steps beyond (west of) these whhich would bring you towards the rear of the train.
From the front of the train (platform 5, eastbound) or rear (platform 6, westbound) move back along the platform, take the first turning and turn back towrds one of the lifts. Go up to concourse level, leave via the same door and turn right. Follow right then right again, round the lift shaft then continue to the wall in front of you and turn left then right again and when you reach the wall in front of you, turn left and continue along the high level walkway. Follow the left-hand side, take the turning left and locate the lift on your right after a few metres. Go down to platform level and leave via the other door. Platform 1 is to your right, you're about in the middle of the train.
