From the Victoria Line, platform 4, go towards the rear of the train and turn left, ideally into the first passage leading to the area at the foot of the escalators. Cross to the far side of this area before turning right. The escalator up to the circulating area should be in front of you. Note that, if an escalator is turned off, the one that is working will normally be going up.

From the Northern line, platform 3, go toward the front of the train and turn right, ideally into the third passage leading to the area at the foot of the escalators. On entering this area, turn left. The escalator to the circulating area should be in front of you. Note that, if an escalator is turned off, the one that is working will normally be going up.

Continue forward from the top of the escalator to reach the far wall before turning right into the exit passage. Continue forward, past the two turnings on your left for the Northern Line Charing Cross Branch.

Otherwise, take the first turning on your left, the escalators to the underground concourse are in front of you.
