Take the passage signed to the Victoria Line (the third of five passages leaving these platforms). Turn east and go up 18 steps. The door to the lift is in front of you. Turn right (south), over a "hump bridge" crossing the westbound track and turn right (west) into the passage towards the Victoria Line, keep right.
The passage slopes down, quite steeply, for a few metres then levels out just before the foot of the steps. At this point, the exit passage from the Victoria Line to the Piccadilly comes in from your left.Go up 13 steps, going west, then veer left, then up 13 steps, going southwest to a T-junction. Turn right for platform 3 northbound, left for platform 4 southbound. You're at the north end of the island platform.
For the exit to the Piccadilly Line, take the second passage from the north end of the platform. Turn north, then go down 19 steps, going north, into a passage. The passage veers right, northeast. Go down eight steps, going northeast. The passage veers left again, north, before joining the passage to the Piccadilly Line. Turn right, east, and continue to the end of the passage, before turning left (north) then right again (east). You go down 19 steps, going east onto the island platform. Platform 2, eastbound is to your left, platform 1, westbound is to your right. You're near the east end of the platform.
