Lines Served

This is the northern terminus of the Bakerloo line and a through station for services to Watford and Milton Keynes.

Layout

The station has 6 platforms, running approximately east/west, numbered 1 through 6 from south/north, of which 2 - 3 and 4 - 5 are island platforms. These are: -

  1. Bakerloo terminus and slow trains to Watford Junction);
  2. Bakerloo Line to Elephant & Castle and slow trains to Euston;
  3. not normally used - northbound mainline trains pass through at high speed;
  4. not normally used - southbound mainline trains pass through at high speed;
  5. northbound fast services to Milton Keynes and beyond;
  6. southbound fast services to Euston.

The bridge near the west end of the station, accessible via lift and stairs, serves all platforms.

Each entrance has its own concourse with ticket sales windows and machines.

We believe that people wishing to use the station as a short cut between Wealdstone and Harrow have to buy a platform ticket to operate the gates.

Accessibility

Step free access is provided to platform 6 from the main entrance, to platform 1, from the south entrance and to other platforms via the lifts between each platform and the bridge. We therefore believe this station is accessible to Guide Dog and wheelchair users.
