EXIT FROM BAKERLOO AND VICTORIA LINES |
DESCRIBE ONLINE |
Although designated as exits, these passages seem to be used by people changing platforms and using them as entrances too. Five passages meet near the foot of the escalators to the exit concourse in an area I shall call the exit intersection, see below.
The southern end of the north and southbound island platforms contains an exit concourse containing three passages running parallel to the platforms interlinked by 2 passages which ultimately allow access between platforms. The north wall of the exit concourses are blank. The south ends of the outer passages go to the exits, whilst the middle passage goes to the Central Line. Each platform is linked to an exit concourse by four passages.
Taking the exit passage adjacent to platform 6, ascend 20 steps, going south then turn left east at the top towards the escalators to the exit concourse.
Taking the exit passage adjacent to platform 4, ascend 20 steps going south, continue south then turn left east up a slight slope, towards the escalators to the exit concourse.
Note, The exits from platforms 4 and 6 enter parallel passages, the platform 6 exit takes the outside of the corner.
Taking the exit passage adjacent to platform 3, pass a blank door on your left and ascend 18 steps, going south to reach the exit intersection.
Taking the exit from platform 5, continue south up a slope, ascend 12 steps before turning right west and follow the passage to the exit intersection.
