You turn right from the end of the main corridor, continuing on carpeted floor, going south.
The main area of the concourse is raised above the level of the main corridor. As you move south, you go up four steps onto a stone floor. This flight of steps is divided into three sections by two pillars, a ramp normally occupies most of the middle section.
This area consists of a stone floored rectangle bounded by pillars on three sides. There's carpeted floor outside the pillars. The stone floor continues to the fourth (south) side in front of the main stairs.
