C.V.I.P. Limited, in Hall A, will be launching Milestone, the first MP3 Recorder/Player designed for Blind people. The prompts are in clear human voice. The keys are large and tactile. This incredibly small piece of equipment, measuring 50x80x14 mm weighing 49 gm approx., is packed with useful features. These include internal memory (2 hours), microphone, loudspeaker, socket for external microphone/line-in/headphones/loudspeaker and SD/MMC slot up to 2 GB (140 hours). Milestone built-in rechargeable battery is charged from mains or when connected to a computer�s USB port.
Voice and music are recorded in MP3 format. DAISY book software is available. Please come and try it out.
