THE NORTHERN LINE PLATFORMS 3 - 4 |

This is an island platform running north/south with platform 3 serving southbound trains towards Morden lying west of platform 4 serving northbound trains towards King's Cross, Euston and beyond. Note that doors open on your left as you face the front of the train. There is no tactile paving along the edge of either platform.
The steps from the Intermediate Level are off the north end of the platforms, whilst escalators towards Monument Station are off the south end of platform 4. Stairs routes to/from the DLR are towards the south end of this island platform.
You go down 21 steps, going south, to platform level, platform 3, southbound is to your right, platform 4, northbound to your left. there's no tactile paving at the top or bottom of these steps which have a hand rail to each side.
From the westbound, platform 1, you go down 14 then 14 steps, going west into the subway then take the turning right (north) and continue to the junction then turn left (northwest).
From the eastbound, platform 2, you go down 14 then 14 steps, going west and continue to the junction then bear right (northwest).
There's a pillar in the middle of the space at the junction. As you continue northwest towards the escalators, you pass:

The escalators are in front of you, the left-hand escalator is normally the one you need, go down (northwest) to platform level. From here you can bear right (north) onto platform 4 northbound, or turn left (west) then right (north) onto platform 3 southbound.
